As an experienced Airbnb host myself, I consider Nick’s place to be the best Airbnb place I have visited. This place is a gem and that’s an understatement. The whole place was in perfect condition in all aspects. Having a fireplace was a bonus which made our time here extra special. I loved what Nick and his family has done to the cottage and I would rate it 10 out of 5 stars if I could. Nick was a fantastic host and his family were kind and friendly. I’ll be back!”
It was very spacious, with a large kitchen and felt very homely. There were lots of surprises when looking around- Pastries in the kitchen, tea and coffee supplies with fresh bottled milk and puzzles and games to keep you entertained. What I especially liked is the fact that the TV in the house was very easy to operate allowing you to access Netflix and Amazon etc, lovely to settle down in the evening with the fire on. Also it was all SPARKLING clean! Actually felt clean coming out of the shower rather than dirtier, unlike some other places I have stayed. It is slightly away from the local beaches, but it is only a 5 minute drive which allows you a chance to explore the beautiful countryside surrounding it! Overall everything about the place and our stay was great and we can’t wait to come back again!”
“The cottage is absolutely beautiful. Its secluded out of the way but a 10 minute drive into Newquay town. Cabs are cheap and easy to get if you don’t want to drive. Lovely and peaceful. The cottage was extremely clean and has everything you need. The log burner was a lovely touch as kept us warm on the cold windy days. Will most definitely be returning. We cant wait to plan our next trip! Cant recommend Nick and his cottage enough! Great host and great cottage.”
We are a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids aged 11 and 5) and it was perfect for us. Best bits – the woodburner, efficient nest heating (important in October!) comfy beds & linen, and top quality appliances. Nick and Lauren have created one of the nicest stays we’ve ever enjoyed on Airbnb and we hope to visit again soon!”
Leading up to the stay Nick called several times to check we were happy with the booking and if i had any questions. He was also able to give me a great recommendation for a restaurant to book for a special occasion, which we loved so much we went back again. The pictures do not do Bullpen Cottage any justice, from the appliances to the fixtures everything is of a high standard, which for our family made our stay a very comfortable one. We couldn’t recommend staying at Bullpen Cottage enough. We cannot fault the cottage or the service we received and we’ll definitely be returning to Bullpen soon.
